In 1733, we started expedition which was to
explore the east coast of Siberia and to find out if Asia and North America
were joined. It took seven years for my groups to cross Siberia. First, we went
to Tobolsk. Meanwhile we spent a year in Tobolsk, we built a ship and explored
Ob River. Next, we went to Yakutsk and explored the Lena River. After four
years, we moved Okhotsk and two years spent there. In the two years of Okhotsk,
we built ships so that we could explore and map the east coast. There was problem
during the cruise. Many of us were sick from scurvy. Then we started dying. One day,
a storm hit our ships and our ship was broken. Finally, we drifted to small island.
In small island, we found animal for food and fresh water to drink. However, it
was too late for many of us. We continued to die from scurvy. Also, our boss died
of scurvy in December 8, 1741. When spring came, we built a small ship from the
wood in the old one and left the island.

First Contribution
My name is Masato Isaji. I am from Aichi in Japan. My hobby is watching movie and listen to rock music. I have one sister. She is two year older than me. I have been at ASU for about 3 months. I came to study English at ASU because I was transferred to U.S.A company which located Phoenix so I have to communicate with coworker and customer in English. I will study AECP until the first 4 weeks of this session. After ASU finish, I plan to work for United States for three years. The most interesting thing that I have ever done in my life is travel to Los Angeles with AECP friend who is not speak Japanese. My major was machine engineering. Six years have passed since I joined the Japanese company. Time flies very fast. My most interesting characteristic is hard-working and friendly.
